Jackson enters week 10 looking to bounce back from a poor fantasy finish in week 9. Last week against the Seahawks Jackson fail to score a touchdown of any kind. That’s the first time that has happened all season. Jackson finished 27 for 27, with 187 passing yard. Though he did manage a respectable 60-yards on the ground on just 10 caries. Jackson finished with 11.4 fantasy points from last weeks matchup.
Jackson has played very well so far this season in leading his team to a 7-2 record, sitting atop the AFC North. Jackson has four game this season where he has managed at least 20 plus fantasy points, but he also has four games where he come in under 13 points.
Week 10
Projected total points – 17.6
Opponent – Cleveland Browns
DEFRANK – 3rd
YRD(PA) – 262
YRD(RU) – 67
TD(P) – 2.4
TD(R) – 1.3
COMP% – 66.4%
The question here becomes do you sit Jackson with a tough fantasy matchup against a very good Browns defense. While your options may be limited this time of the year as more and more teams are on bye weeks, Jackson still provides good positional value here, even going against a stingy Browns defense. Expect the Browns too lock down Beckham Jr. and Mark Andrews, Jackson’s primary go to targets in the passing game. With rookie running back Keaton Mitchell having a breakout game last week (138-yards on the ground and a touchdown) and the Ravens feeding Gus Edwards on goal to goal situations, expect that the Ravens will once again lean heavily on their running game.
Jackson is always a threat to go over a hundred yards on the ground in any given week and he should have a small bounce back in the passing game as well.
