We are a blog website that covers the NFL and other components of professional Football in general. The name of our site and organization is “Pro Football Junkies”.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Please note that we will not delete any collected information, if that information is being accessed by a law enforcement agency as part of an ongoing civil or criminal investigation when our website is compelled to allow such access in compliance with a warrant.

Please note we make no guarantees that all of your information can be deleted and you further understand that we are not responsible for data breaches that occur due to any malicious attempt to illegally access our website and its data.

Information collected from Children (under the age of 13)

This website complies with COPPAChildren’s Online Privacy Protection Act. This website DOES NOT intend to collect information from children under the age of thirteen. Furthermore our terms of use expressly FORBIDS children sending our website any information through electronic means or traditional mail (snail mail).

However, in the event that a child does send information to our site, we collect and store this information in the same manner as any other user on our website.

Who we share your data with

We collect and store IP addresses of all users that view or visit our website. This is done for several reasons, but the primary reason is for the security of our website and host network.

We DO NOT publicly share IP addresses with any third parties.

However,

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. We also will cooperate with any law enforcement agency that requests IP information, as well as any other information that we collect in the event we are compelled by warrant through such authorities.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
