Week 10 Power Rankings

By | Published | No Comments

The Jacksonville Jaguars move into the top five after winning their fifth straight game. The Ravens have won four in a row, and their defense is becoming dominant. They have held opponents to just over 12 points per game during their winning streak. Meanwhile, the Dolphins still have not managed to beat a team with a winning record and the Niners had an extra week, thanks to their bye, to fix their little three game losing streak. Finally the AFC has been put on notice that the Bengals are back, riding a four game winning streak, and with back-to-back impressive wins over the Niners and the Bills.

So let’s take a look at where all 32 teams shake out.

  1. Philadelphia Eagles (8-1) – Same as they were this time last year, best in the NFC.
  2. Baltimore Ravens (7-2) – Lamar Jackson is looking a lot like his old MVP self.
  3. Kansas City Chiefs (7-2) – Their defense is really starting to look dangerous.
  4. Detroit Lions (6-2) – It’s crazy but the Lions are the second best team in the NFC.
  5. Jacksonville Jaguars (6-2) – The Jaguars are going to be a problem for the rest of the AFC contenders.
  6. Miami Dolphins (6-3) – If the Chargers win one more game, does Miami finally get credit for beating a team with a winning record. Asking for a friend.
  7. Cincinnati Bengals (5-3) – They have won three in a row and just took down two teams that were trendy Super Bowl picks.
  8. San Francisco 49ers (5-3) – I hope they enjoyed their bye last week, because they are still riding that three game losing streak.
  9. Dallas Cowboys (5-3) – They really let one fall through their fingertips last Sunday against the Eagles.
  10. Cleveland Browns (5-3) – It almost feels like DeShaun Watson is just along for the ride.
  11. Seattle Seahawks (5-3) – Geno Smith’s awakening in Seattle just keeps rolling along.
  12. Buffalo Bills (5-4) – So uh about that window closing or not closing. I think it could be closing.
  13. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3) – They are still the worst 5-3 team in the NFL, but they are winning.
  14. Minnesota Vikings (5-4) – Joshua Dobbs has been the most intriguing QB this season by far.
  15. New Orleans Saints (5-4) – Look who’s in first place in the NFC South. Can they stay there?
  16. Los Angeles Chargers (4-4) – They are the definition average.
  17. Houston Texans (4-4) – C.J. Stroud number two in the draft, but number one in your hearts.
  18. Washington Commanders (4-5) – Beating New England on the road may not mean what it once did, but it’s steel satisfying.
  19. New York Jets (4-4) – Sure it’s tempting to think they still have a chance to make the playoffs, but I’m not buying it.
  20. Indianapolis Colts (4-5)- Imagine where they might be if there defense could play Bryce Young every week.
  21. Atlanta Falcons (4-5) – So uh Heinicke is an improvement over Ridder, right? I mean right?
  22. Las Vegas Raiders (4-5) – The Raiders always seem to get better after they fire their head coach.
  23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5) – And the decline continues. See ya next year Tampa.
  24. Green Bay Packers (3-5) – The Packers got back into the win column. Cheese heads can now rejoice.
  25. Tennessee Titans (3-5) – Will Levis is the starting QB in Nashville. That is music to Titans fans ears.
  26. Los Angeles Rams (3-6) – Sean McVay has more time to polish that Lombardi trophy. Cause it’s starting to look a little dull.
  27. Denver Broncos (3-5) – The Broncos could go on a nice little wining streak now that Russ is cooking again.
  28. New England Patriots (2-7) – There’s nothing like getting out of the country when time are tough.
  29. New York Giants (2-7) – Daniel Jones will miss the rest of the season. I’m not sure if that’s good news or bad news.
  30. Chicago Bears (2-7) – Sometimes it’s hard to believe they have actually managed to beat another team twice.
  31. Arizona Cardinals (1-8) – Joshua Dobbs went from tank mode, to salvage mode in just one week.
  32. Carolina Panthers (1-7) – Some say we still need time before we trot the ole “bust” label out for Bryce Young. I’m saying there is really no reason to wait.
