The Atlanta Falcons have become the betting favorite to land the services of current Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields for next season.
According to Draft Kings Sportsbook, Fields is currently slotted in at -130 odds of being traded to the Atlanta Falcons.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are getting the second best offs at +350 to land Fields.
The Falcons could have drafted Fields fourth overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, but instead drafted tight end Kyle Pitts.
This could be seen as a move that would help both players. Fields obviously needs more weapons around him and a better offensive line, both areas of strength at the moment for the Falcons and Pitts could definitely use thee services of a quarterback with a higher upsides to get the most out of his potential.
The Bears, who have two top ten picks in Aprils draft, including the number one overall pick, are widely expected to draft USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams. That would open the door for the Bears to listen to trade offers for Fields.
Fields has had a very inconsistent three seasons in Chicago. Much of his time in Chicago has been mired in poor coaching, a lack of overall talent on the roster, and injuries.
After the Steelers, the Patriots have the third best odds to acquire Fields, followed by the Bears and Broncos rounding out the top five.
