Week 17 – Power Rankings

  1. Baltimore Ravens (12-3)
I guess we cleared up the best team in the NFL and MVP favorite all in one game.  That was nice.
  2. San Francisco 49ers (11-4)
Ok so that was a shellacking at the hands of the Ravens.  But they could still win it all.
  3. Miami Dolphins (11-4)
They finally beat a team with a winning record.  Here come two more. Don't slip up now fins.
  4. Philadelphia Eagles (11-4)
Even after beating the Giants, they still seem to be just a little out of sorts.  Of course they could still win top seed in the NFC and that would cure a lot of ills.
  5. Dallas Cowboys (10-5)
They have suddenly lost two in a row on the road, and that might be a bad sign of the chances of wining a playoff game on the road.
  6. Detroit Lions (11-4)
The Lions are NFC North division champions. See mom I did finally get to say it or at least write it.
  7. Buffalo Bills (9-6)
I still think this team could win it all, and that goes double if they manage to win the AFC East.
  8. Cleveland Browns (10-5)
Joe Flacco and Amari Cooper.  That's it.  That's all you really need.
  9. Kansas City Chiefs (9-6)
The Chiefs suddenly have a fight on their hands to bring home another AFC West division title.
  10. Cincinnati Bengals (8-7)
They need some help but they are still alive for a playoff berth.
  11. Jacksonville Jaguars (8-7)
They are suddenly incapable of playing winning football, and that could be bad news for their playoff hopes.
  12. Houston Texans (8-7)
They should have their starting QB back for this week and that should help a stagnate offense.
  13. Indianapolis Colts (8-7)
Wn out and they will make the AFC playoffs. They could even steal the AFC South.
  14. Los Angeles Rams (8-7)
Still the hottest team that nobody wants to play in the NFC playoffs.
  15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-7)
They control their own destiny.  Win out and win the NFC South.  Hooray!!
  16. Minnesota Vikings (7-8)
They had the Lions right where they wanted them, but they will have to wait two more weeks for that elusive win.
  17. Seattle Seahawks (8-7)
They may have waiting too long to save their season, but still a nice comeback on the road.
  18. New Orleans Saints (7-8)
They win out and they still have a chance.
  19. Pittsburgh Steelers (8-7)
I still can't believe the Steelers are hanging around.  Somebody make it stop.
  20. Atlanta Falcons (7-8)
When they let Bijan Robinson cook the meal is pretty dang tasty.
  21. Green Bay Packers (7-8)
They almost lost it all against the lowly Panthers, but I could still see them sneak into the playoffs.
  22. Las Vegas Raiders (7-8)
Antonio Pierce could run for office in Vegas. Any office.  Just pick one.
  23. Denver Broncos (7-8)
That's an awful lot of money and draft picks the Broncos spent for a fancy hood ornament.
  24. Chicago Bears (6-9)
The Bears might be a playoff team if Fields doesn't get hurt.
  25. New York Giants (5-10)
Well that Tommy DeVito craziness is over.  Right?
  26. Tennessee Titans (5-10)
Ryan Tannehill looked like the ghost of Ryan Tannehill.
  27. New York Jets (6-9)
For once the Jets managed to not completely embarrass themselves.
  28. Los Angeles Chargers (5-10)
They almost beat a really good team.
  29. Washington Commanders (4-11)
They almost beat a really bad team.
  30. Arizona Cardinals (3-12)
The good news is that they have lots of draft picks next year
  31. New England Patriots (4-11)
Belichick is interested in earning the next coach of the Pats a top pick.
  32. Carolina Panthers (2-13)
Ok I admit it. I am slightly impressed with Bryce Young's last two performances,
